Welcome, 9th Graders!

I am thrilled to welcome you to a new school year in our World Studies and Advisory class. My name is Mr. Wolfinger, and I have been teaching for 19 years, with the last 11 years spent here at Orr Academy High School. It’s an honor to embark on this academic journey with you.

World Studies is an exciting subject that allows us to explore the rich tapestry of human history, cultures, and the interconnectedness of our global society. Through engaging lessons, discussions, and projects, we will uncover the stories that have shaped our world and continue to influence our lives today.

In addition to our World Studies class, our Advisory sessions will provide a supportive space where we can discuss important topics, develop essential life skills, and build a strong sense of community. Together, we will navigate the challenges and celebrate the successes of this school year.
