LESSON OVERVIEW

On Day 12, students complete the Unit 0 inquiry by presenting or displaying their Origins Evidence Exhibit. They communicate a defensible conclusion about beginnings, evidence, scale, and cultural meaning. As audience members, students leave evidence-based comments or questions for classmates. Students also complete ACT-Style Quiz 0D, the Unit 0 Cumulative Source Set, which provides final baseline data for Unit 1 grouping and reteaching. The lesson ends with reflection on how students’ thinking changed about beginnings, evidence, or scale.
